Cowbridge shop celebrates its 3rd birthday
Our shop located on the High Street in Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan celebrated its 3rd birthday last Saturday. To mark to the occasion, the shop was adorned with balloons and bunting and had a selection of snacks and soft drinks for customers to enjoy. There was a brilliant atmosphere in the shop, with customers taking full advantage of the special offers on books, DVD’s and toys.
Shop Manager Jeane said “We wanted to celebrate and thank our customers for supporting us over the past three years. Without our customers, donors and brilliant volunteers we wouldn’t be able to support formerly homeless individuals. It’s a really amazing charity”.
The shop was busy, especially by the books, DVD's and toys which were on offer!
Peter Knapp, the chairman of Emmaus South Wales said “Three years ago, I was invited as Mayor of Cowbridge, officially to open this Emmaus shop. I duly cut the ribbon and afterwards was interested to learn more of the work of Emmaus South Wales. Subsequently, I am now the Chairman and in those three years I have seen the shop become a ‘destination’ for many discerning customers, thanks to its interesting, ever changing and varied stock."
