Volunteer with us

By volunteering your time and skills you could make a huge difference to the lives of homeless people in South Wales.

There are many opportunities for volunteers to work in any of our shops across South Wales (Aberdare, Bridgend, Cowbridge, Maesteg, Neath and Porthcawl).

In our shops, the ability and desire to help is crucial, together with the willingness to learn new skills. Our shops require people to help with the cleanliness, layout, and positive customer experience. By volunteering with us, this would not only benefit the companions in our community, but would also benefit you. Volunteering in our shops helps develop and enhance key skills such as Communication skills, Customer Service skills and retail knowledge.

Volunteering would be ideal for students completing the Welsh Baccalaureate qualification, retired individuals, people seeking to gain new skills in preparation for employment or anyone who just wants to help make a difference in their local community.

The profit from our shops goes towards the running of the Emmaus South Wales community Home in Bridgend (shown below). So your help can really make a difference!
