Join our 80s-themed Charity Night
Emmaus Preston is appealing for lovers of 80s music and retro hits for an upcoming charity night at the Lea Club.
The Emmaus Preston 80s Charity Night will take place on Friday 24 August at the Lea Club in Preston. The event will include a hotpot dinner, charity raffle and a DJ spinning 80s hits and disco all night long.
“Join us for a fun-filled Friday with your favourite 80s retro grooves. Come and strut your funky stuff with your friends or work colleagues and help to raise money for Emmaus Preston. Fancy dress is optional but we will be awarding prizes for the best dressed 80s man and woman.”
Luke Parkinson, Fundraising Coordinator at Emmaus Preston
Emmaus Preston supports formerly homeless people by providing a home and meaningful work in a community setting. The charity operates three large social enterprises in the city, providing valuable work opportunities whilst generating an income to help sustain the support offered by Emmaus Preston.
All funds raised on the night will go towards the Emmaus Preston Bond Scheme which helps to pay the bond or deposit for when people supported by the charity move-on and secure their own home.
The 80s Charity Night will take place on Friday 24 August, from 7:30pm until midnight, at the Lea Club, 872 Blackpool Rd, Preston PR2 1XN. Tickets are limited and priced at £10 per person, available from the Lea Club or online via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/80s-charity-night-in-aid-of-emmaus-preston-tickets-47429177948
