Jane's taking on the Cheviots for charity!

This August, Emmaus North East trustee, Jane Small, is setting off on a 20 mile hike from Scotland into England, taking in parts of the Pennine Way and the Cheviot Hills to raise money for Emmaus North East.

Trustee Jane training for charity walk

The walk will start at Morebattle in Scotland, rising steeply up and over Wideopen Hill, then down in to Town Yetholm, in the valley of the Bowmont Water.

The route will then take Jane over the most northern part of the Pennine Way, down into Hethpool, and back up into part of the Cheviot Hills between Yeavering Bell and Watch Hill. She'll finish in Wooler, on the edge of the Northumberland National Park.

It sounds like a challenging but beautiful walk, and we wish Jane the best possible weather for it! You can sponsor her here:

Good luck, Jane, and thank you for your support!
