Brighter Futures office opening
On Friday 8 March Liz Kendall MP cut the ribbon to officially open the Outreach Office for Brighter Futures, our Leicester-based service offering free support to help people into employment and training.
The service, run by Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland, takes a holistic approach to supporting people experiencing barriers to paid employment. Brighter Futures Community Coaches based at the Outreach Office offer help with employability skills (such as CVs, interview preparation and training) alongside support to overcome other potential barriers to employment (such as housing, debt, health and confidence issues).
Also in attendance at the event were local people being supported by the service, alongside Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland staff and trustees.
The service is open to residents of Leicester and surrounding areas including Hinckley and Coalville. Anyone wishing to access free support or find out more, can drop into the Brighter Futures Outreach Office at 67B Hinckley Road in Leicester; the office is open 11am – 5pm every Monday and 9am to 5pm Tuesday to Friday. Alternatively call 0116 3191420, email email@example.com or click here to find out more.
Brighter Futures is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.
