Harvester Men's Network donate £500 to Emmaus Hertfordshire

On 15 July 2018, the Harvester Men's Network welcomed Emmaus Hertfordshire CEO Tony Ferrier to present the work of Emmaus and donated £500 in a show of support for the work the charity does.

The Harvesters Men's Network invited Emmaus Hertfordshire to its Men's Weekend to explain the Emmaus model, how the Hertfordshire community works, and the impact it can have on the lives of people who have experienced homelessness.

Harvesters is a national Catholic Men's Network, that seek to encourage and equip men in their faith. The network organises days, evenings and weekends for men to come together to facilitate friendship and support and to provide opportunities for prayer, sharing and healing.

I would like to thank Tony Ferrier for the inspiring presentation at the Harvesters Men's Weekend on the work of Emmaus and how our guys could get involved and support the wonderful programme to get people back on their feet, find shelter and enjoy the dignity of work. We are really pleased to donate £500 from our collection to Emmaus in support of its work.
