Award-winning training provider Spearhead eLearning has announced their charity partnership with Emmaus UK.
Spearhead eLearning will work directly with Emmaus UK to offer eLearning courses, work placements, and training such as health & safety and construction, to Emmaus companions (formerly homeless people).
John Loveday, CEO and Co-Founder of Spearhead eLearning, said:
Spearhead eLearning regularly give back to the local community and are especially keen to support the homeless and formerly homeless. We are very proud and excited to be partnering with Emmaus UK in order to support their companions with high quality training and development. This commitment starts with my personal fundraising goal. I have signed up for the Three Peaks Challenge on 22 June, which I hope to complete in less than 24 hours, with all of the money I raise going to Emmaus UK.'
We're looking forward to developing our relationshiip with Emmaus now and into the future. It's a great charity with a great team and we aim to support as many companions as possible.'
Sallie Winterbottom, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Emmaus UK, added:
We are delighted that Spearhead eLearning have chosen to help us to develop our companions. Their wide ranging experience in training and their links with employers will ensure our companions across the UK have exciting additional opportunities to increase their employability skills and confidence.'
We’ll be cheering John on as he completes his Three Peaks Challenge and we thank him and all at Spearhead eLearning for their support.’
