Emmaus and Primesight launch national advertising campaign
Today Emmaus and Primesight Ltd have launched a new awareness raising campaign across 287 outdoor advertising sites in the UK to get more people into Emmaus charity shops and highlight its work with homeless people across the country.
The campaign worth approximately £200,000 was entirely donated by Primesight and features tailored creative content for 22 of Emmaus’s 29 communities across 250 phone kiosks and 37 digital roadside advertising sites.
Naren Patel, CEO at Primesight said: “Partnering with Emmaus has been an important part of the legacy we’re aiming to establish. Based in four locations around the UK, our employees have noticed homelessness growing right in front of their eyes and felt a pressing need to be part of the solution. Donating this entire campaign to Emmaus has always been about supporting a homelessness charity with a difference: they don’t just give someone a bed for a night, but rather they offer a home, meaningful work and a sense of belonging – that’s exactly what we hope this awareness-raising campaign will help them to achieve.”
Simon Grainge, Chief Executive of Emmaus UK, said: “We really appreciate the support Primesight has given us with this campaign. Having access to free advertising for our charity shops is a great help for us, and we hope it will encourage more people to shop with us. It is the income from our shops that generates the majority of the funds to support our work across the UK, helping people to overcome homelessness and social exclusion.
“Advertising on this kind of scale is usually out of our reach for financial reasons, but we know it can have a big impact and we really hope it will get more people into our shops in the run up to Christmas.”
Emmaus is one of several charities adopted by Primesight as part of its year-long engagement plan to help support homeless people in the UK.
