“It has been a great experience to offer support at Emmaus and the response has been really positive. Seeing healthy changes in others is what we are all about. As a Be Well advisor I am keen to spread the word to the people of Mossley and customers that by making small changes it can have a huge benefit to us all.”
Matthew Hutchinson, Health and Wellbeing Advisor at Be Well Tameside
Matthew has been visiting Emmaus Mossley for the past few months, supporting companions, volunteers and staff alike with anything health or wellbeing related. He is now keen to extend the service to the wider Mossley community, allowing customers who visit Emmaus to also receive one-to-one health advice and support.
“A chat with Matt is nothing like the doctors - he's friendly and supportive, helping me make positive changes in my life. I would definitely recommend him to others.”
