There are so many ways that you can help Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland to thrive...
Make a donation
Your donation will help us to provide a home and meaningful work to people experiencing homelessness and social exclusion. All our companions want is an opportunity to work their way out of homelessness and, with your support, we can offer them that.
Donate your unwanted items
Just because you no longer need an item, don’t throw it away, by donating it to Emmaus you’re not only keeping it out of landfill, but you’re also making sure it goes to a new home, while also doing something to help others.
Visit our shops
Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland has two charity shops in Hinckley. The Emporium on Stockwell Head is our main social enterprise with a large retail area and café. We also have our high street store, La Boutique, located on Castle Street.
Volunteer in our shop
We rely on our volunteers to keep Emmaus Leicestershire & Rutland ticking over. If you have an eye for detail, and know your Gucci from your George, you could help us sort stock ready for sale in our two charity shops.
Volunteering could also be a great way to gain work experience in a retail environment. Just get in touch if you fancy joining our team.
Link your business with ours
Working with Emmaus is a great social investment in your local community. Consider sending us your old equipment if you are upgrading your office, or perhaps hold a 'don't dump it' day at your place of work. We can come and collect donations, and would be happy to show you around our community or organise staff volunteering days.
Raise money for us
We are always looking for people who will run, walk, trek, skydive or do any other exciting thing that they can to raise money for us. Why not give us a call to discuss your ideas on 01455 637587?
Invite us round for a chat
Emmaus companions are the best advocates to talk about how living in an Emmaus community can help those who find themselves homeless. We could come along to your school, business or faith group to tell you more about how we are working to end homelessness, and what you can do to help.
