There are so many ways to help…

Donate your unwanted furniture

Just because you no longer need an item, don’t throw it away, by donating it to Emmaus you’re not only keeping it out of landfill, but you’re also making sure it goes to a new home, while also doing something to help others.

Make a donation

Your donation will help us to provide a home and meaningful work to people experiencing homelessness and social exclusion. All our companions want is an opportunity to work their way out of homelessness and, with your support, we can offer them that.

Volunteer

Volunteering could be a great way to gain work experience in a retail environment. We are also looking for volunteer drivers: if you could spare a few hours a week to help out with our furniture collection/delivery service using our Emmaus vans, we’d be most grateful.

Link your business with ours

Working with Emmaus is a great social investment in your local community. Consider sending us your old equipment if you are upgrading your office, or perhaps hold a ‘don’t dump it’ day at your place of work. We can come and collect furniture donations, and would be happy to show you around our community or organise staff volunteering days.

Raise money for us

We are always looking for people who will run, walk, trek, skydive or do any other exciting thing that they can to raise money for us. Why not give us a call to discuss your ideas?

Invite us round for a chat.

Emmaus companions are the best advocates to talk about how living in an Emmaus community can help those who find themselves homeless. We could come along to your school, business or faith group to tell you more about how we are working to end homelessness, and what you can do to help.

Please get in touch to discuss how you can get involved with your local homelessness charity.
