Emmaus Leeds offers two types of house clearances to residents and landlords in Leeds.
Our service ranges from a free ‘cherry pick service’ – where Emmaus will remove reusable items for sale in our charity shops – to a full, chargeable clearance and disposal service, removing all items, excluding carpets, curtains and fitted units. Our team are able to clear all furniture, homewares, electrical appliances, bric-a-brac and clothes. We cover all areas of Leeds, and clearances within a 10 mile radius of Leeds will also be considered.
Our team will normally conduct an evaluation of your items prior to the clearance taking place. This is so we can check the saleability of items being collected and plan the logistical requirements needed to conduct the clearance. Where a full clearance is needed, we will look to charge a fair price depending on the number of items, the saleability of any items and the distance from our St Mary’s Street base.
Above all, Emmaus Leeds will provide a friendly, considerate and professional clearance service. Every effort will be made to ensure that as many items and materials will be reused or recycled where possible, minimising waste to landfill. All proceeds from our house clearances are used to support the Emmaus Leeds charity, giving people who have experienced homelessness a fresh start in life.
