Donate goods to Emmaus Leeds

Emmaus Leeds depends on your continued support and kind donations to keep us going and we always do our utmost to sell, recycle or re-use to grow an income from everything you give us.

What donated items do you accept?

We welcome donations of good quality furniture, clothes, toys, books, bicycles and bric-a-brac. We also accept working electrical appliances such as washing machines or fridge freezers, alongside smaller electrical items such as flat-screen TVs and lamps. If you’re not sure, feel free to give us a call.

What items cannot be donated?

Emmaus Leeds are happy to accept most household items. There are some exceptions for either legal or practical reasons. This includes soft furnishings without a valid fire label, safety items, baby equipment or any item that is not in a saleable condition.

How can I get my large donations to you?

Where possible we ask that you drop-off your donated items to our Secondhand Superstore on St Mary's Street. Emmaus Leeds offers a free collection service for you to donate furniture (subject to condition) but we are unable to collect clothes, bric-a-brac and small donations. We also provide a Leeds house clearance service.
