Admin Assistant - Emmaus Hertfordshire
The Emmaus Hertfordshire shop in Hertford is on the lookout for a volunteer admin assistants to help with the inputting of stock details onto a spreadsheet to track sales, answering email enquiries and updating other spreadsheets.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.
Emmaus Hertfordshire not only provides formerly homeless people with a stable home and meaningful work in our community and shops, we also sell excellent quality, donated furniture and other household items. To achieve this, Emmaus relies upon a network of volunteers to help us, and our residents, to keep everything running smoothly. We are a multisite organisation, that has a variety of different volunteering roles to suit all.
Full training is provided for all volunteer roles, and no role requires lone working. Working as part of a multi-skilled team makes our volunteering roles more enjoyable and fulfilling to our volunteers. Our Emmaus volunteers work alongside formerly homeless individuals, who are working hard to get their lives back on track and achieve their goals, and therefore we do require all volunteers to complete DBS checks.
Volunteers do receive 20% discount in our stores and are invited to events and activities provided by the charity.
