Donate unwanted items to Emmaus Greenwich

Many thanks for thinking about donating your used household items to the homeless charity, Emmaus Greenwich. We will sell your donated goods in our charity shops in South East London and use the receipts to fund our community and help others less fortunate than ourselves (our solidarity projects). We will always do our utmost to sell, recycle or otherwise get an income from everything you give us.

We are looking for good quality household items, in particular furniture, most electrical items, clothes, bric-a-brac etc., but not, for safety reasons, baby equipment or safety items. Please could you make sure your donations are in a saleable condition, otherwise we have to pay to tip it!

All soft furnishings must have a Fire Safety Regulation (1988) label and all electrical appliances must have a CE mark.

We will collect donations for free from areas that are south of the river within 5 miles of our Plumstead community, so residents in Greenwich, Blackheath, etc please give us a call. We'll also collect for free from areas outside the 5 mile radius such as Docklands, Chislehurst, Bromley and Orpington.

We also do house clearances for a fee. Please call us on 020 8854 3426 to arrange a quote. You may find that we're cheaper than alternatives such as a man with a van, and you'll be happier knowing that your money has gone to a good cause!
