Donation from Mountains of Fire and Miracles Ministries - Woolwich

Woolwich donation

Throughout February 2018, Members of the Woolwich Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries organised a collection of cereals, custards, tinned goods, pies and cakes and donated them to our community in Plumstead.

A key ethos of Mountains of Fire and Miracles Ministries is to help others less fortunate. Members of the church chose Emmaus Greenwich companions to benefit from their solidarity, and every month they organise a collection of essential toiletries, household and food items.

This month, our companions were delighted to meet two members of the church, who visited our community in Plumstead and enjoyed a tour and cup of tea with companions and staff.

We are so very lucky to have such thoughtful neighbours. Every month, Grace from Mountains of Fire and Miracles Ministries gets in touch to find out what the needs of our companions are that month, and then organises the collection. It's such a thoughtful gesture, and we would like to thank everyone who donated and spared their time for the collection. It means a lot to our companions.
