Cafe Rene Vinyl Fair raises £500 for Emmaus Gloucestershire
A celebration of all things Vinyl came to Café Rene last month for the Gloucester Vinyl Festival, with collections for Emmaus Gloucestershire throughout the day totalling £500.
The event, which revolves around a set of decks and an open invitation for anyone to bring along their records and play, took place on Saturday 22nd June and brought together a team of stalls and traders to sell vinyl records and accessories.
As well as an appreciation to all things vinyl, Café Rene also gave Emmaus Gloucestershire the opportunity to attend to sell donated vinyl records to help us raise money for our community, as well as giving staff and residents the chance to raise awareness about the work Emmaus does in supporting formerly homeless people.
Emmaus Gloucestershire receive many donations of rare and first cut vinyl records, which are then sold on eBay. To browse the collection, please visit the Emmaus Gloucestershire eBay page.
