Seasonal hamper for local family

 EMMAUSDOVER

Emmaus is a big part of the community in Dover and tries hard to give back wherever it can. Just one example of this is the difference it made to one local family who were struggling over the festive period.

Working closely with Aycliffe Primary School, Emmaus Dover provided a hamper that was packed full of Christmas goodies including crackers, Christmas pudding, cheese, fruit, preserves and even a turkey!

The hamper was then given to a family within the school community who were finding things particularly difficult.

Debbie Stevenson, Community Manager said:

"We always try to support our local community wherever we can, and we are so happy that we were able to support a local family in this way. Christmas can be such a difficult time and knowing that we have been able to help ease the pressure a little makes it all worthwhile"
