Local company raises funds
We'd like to say a big thank you to Coventry company ABM Brightware Manufacturing who walked 40 miles to raise funds for our homelessness charity.
On April 7, staff from the local manufacturing firm took part in the Coventry Way challenge, a 40 mile countryside event and raised over £400 for Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire.
The walking team included Sam Ratcliffe, Mark Jones, Matt Croshaw, Mark Ratcliffe and Paul Block (pictured above). They completed the course in approximately 12 hours.
Speaking about the fundraising, Chris Nawrocki from ABM said:
We are really happy to be able to donate this money to Emmaus; their work to help transform the lives of individuals is extremely important. No doubt we will hold another fundraiser for the charity in the near future."
