Cycling success

Thank you for sponsoring our Support Manager - he (re)cycled 100 miles...

Adrian Warburton is our Support Manager, and on Saturday 20th October he cycled 100 miles for Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire, raising over £200.

Earlier this year, poor Adrian was unable to participate in Ride London, when the bus he was on broke down and he missed the start of the race. This time, he's taking on the same distance but making up his own personal route.

The new route saw him cycle 100 miles in the area around Hereford and Gloucester.

We are very proud of him for getting back on his bike and making this happen! If you haven't done so already, please show your support by sponsoring him:

I have always been a keen road cyclist and used to commute to work on a regular basis on my bike. I saw this as a good way to get fit, raise money for Emmaus and raise the profile of cycling both in Coventry and further afield."

To prepare, Adrian was cycling anything between 40 and 100 miles a week.

As Emmaus is about providing stable accommodation for those who have experienced homelessness. It is important to be able to raise funds to help with the upkeep of our building, provide support for companions and to raise the profile of Emmaus both locally and nationally. All funds will go to providing support to those who come to us for help."
