Sponsor our Support Manager for Ride London this weekend!

Adrian Warburton is our Support Manager, and this Sunday he's taking on the ‘London marathon for cyclists.’ He'll be taking part in the Prudential-Ride London-Surrey 100 to raise funds for Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire.

Please show your support by sponsoring him:

To prepare, Adrian has been cycling anything between 40 and 100 miles a week.

I have always been a keen road cyclist and used to commute to work on a regular basis on my bike. I have always wanted to take part in this event as it is a bit like to London marathon for cyclists. I saw this as a good way to get fit, raise money for Emmaus and raise the profile of cycling both in Coventry and further afield."

Adrian will join other riders at the start line at 6.30am in the QE Olympic Park, east London, before heading west through of the capital and then south towards the Surrey countryside. There the route heads up Leith Hill and zigzags across Box Hill, before heading back north and into London again, passing some of its most famous landmarks. The riders stream through Admiralty Arch before a spectacular finish on The Mall.

As Emmaus is about providing stable accommodation for those who have experienced homelessness. It is important to be able to raise funds to help with the upkeep of our building, provide support for companions and to raise the profile of Emmaus both locally and nationally. All funds will go to providing support to those who come to us for help."
