Fundraising thanks to Mayor of Truro

Crop

Emmaus Cornwall would like to thank Lorrie Eathorne-Gibbons, who has just completed her year as Mayor of Truro.

During the past year she has raised over £28,000 for the group. The money was raised through a series of fundraising events.

A highlight was a concert at the Hall for Cornwall featuring many local
singers & musicians. The concert starred opera singer Jonathan Antoine, who rose to fame in 2012 when he was a runner-up on Britain's Got Talent and dubbed the 'British Pavarotti'.

Emmaus Cornwall really appreciate Lorrie Eathorne-Gibbons's magnificent achievement. The total raised will provide vital funding to continue their work in the local area.
