Within our Derby Barracks site, The Cottages house our beautiful café and an extensive range of bargain books, music and collectables. For those who love a leisurely charity shop browse, The Cottages at Emmaus Bolton is your perfect starting point.

Explore our wide range of bargain books covering all tastes and interests. From soft-back crime thrillers and fiction, to hard-back biographies and cookbooks, you’ll find reading material to last you weeks if not months.

Our music section stocks affordable CDs and vinyl spanning all genres. Have a flick through our retro vinyl singles and LPs to find bargain records from a bygone era. Within The Cottages you will also find collectables, interesting bric-a-brac and small antiques. We also have a small themed area that has regular seasonal sales – call in and see what’s on offer this week.

As well as housing our cafe, The Cottages also has an outdoor seating area and access to our community garden. Recharge your batteries in our indoor seating area, inside our conservatory or relax outside on our garden benches and picnic tables.
