With you every step of the way

Leaving a gift in your will, no matter how big or small, will help people who have experienced homelessness to regain their confidence and self-esteem. This gives them new purpose and the strength to change their lives.

Our Leaving a Gift to Emmaus in your Will guide takes you through all the things you’ll want to think about when preparing to make a will. And our Legacy Fundraising Manager is available to provide support and advice - by email or over the phone - whenever you need it.

Peter's story

Emmaus was very grateful when Peter McCarthy, a supporter for many years, decided to leave a legacy to Emmaus. His daughter explains why her father decided to give to Emmaus:

Dad was always very aware of the privilege that he had in his life and of the deprivation and hardship that others in this world have to deal with. Throughout his working life Dad was involved with many social issues, particularly related to inner city urban problems of housing and homelessness - a huge area of injustice."
