MacMillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning comes to South Lambeth
Emmaus South Lambeth hosted a MacMillan Coffee Morning on Saturday 25th September where all sales from books and DVDs, and donations for cakes went to MacMillan World's Biggest Coffee Morning campaign. This event forms part of our solidarity activities, where we support other charities. ESL Solidarity representative, Andy Bryant, and Boutique head Chris Briggs led the project to raise funds for MacMillan, recruiting cake-bakers from staff, trustees and volunteers, to produce a mouth-watering array of cakes.

The event brought many new customers through our doors, and many of these through our new door, which gives access to our Superstore from Knight's Hill. We rae very excited about the new door, as it provides a quicker route between our shops and superstore, and we hope that many customers will come and try it out! The top floor of the superstore is an Aladdin's cave of art, books, fascinating objet's d'art and unusual items for the house - a great place to browse for different present ideas or interesting features for your home. The ground floor of the superstore sells a wide range of furniture, from practical to antique, and our friendly sales team will arrange delivery for you if you need.
Everyone in the four shops worked hard on 25th September to make the MacMillan day a success, and we sent a donation of £500 to MacMillan for their excellent work with cancer sufferers and their families.
