Could you use your financial skills to help in the financial affairs of a growing Emmaus Community?
Emmaus South Lambeth offers homeless people a home, work and the chance to rebuild their lives in a supportive environment. We are also an independent charity and company limited by guarantee, as well as a member of the national Emmaus Federation.
We are currently looking for a Treasurer to join our existing Board of Trustees. This is an exciting opportunity which requires strategic vision, and strong technical experience of accounting and financial management, preferably within the charity sector. Ideally, you will also have an understanding of the legal duties and liabilities of Trusteeship. Serving as Treasurer can be a valuable and rewarding experience, and an opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals who share your values and commitment.
Location:- Meetings are held at Emmaus South Lambeth in West Norwood, London.
Hours:- Willingness to dedicate a minimum of 8-12 hours/month
