Fabulous news - Joanna Lumley to officially open Emmaus' accommodation in West Norwood
Joanna Lumley, the famous actress of stage and screen will be making an appearance in West Norwood on Saturday April 12th to visit Emmaus South Lambeth’s Community.

The star of hit TV comedy series Absolutely Fabulous will also deliver a short speech prompting better awareness about Emmaus South Lambeth’s work for previously homeless men and women.

The afternoon event is open to the public and includes a charity auction with the group’s president Terry Waite.

And children can enjoy face painting,bouncy castle and other activities.

Official opening: Bobby Vincent House, 9a Knight’s Hill, close to West Norwood train station. Saturday 12 April 2008, 11.30am-5pm.
