Two more Emmaus Communities to open soon
New Emmaus Communities in Colchester and Preston plan to open their doors to Companions later this summer.
After receiving the keys to their purpose built new accommodation at the end of June, Emmaus Colchester have been busy overseeing the final arrangements to make it ready it for Companions to move in. Community Leader, Fiona Broom, is already in post and will live in a flat in the new Community.
The Emmaus Colchester shop is already well established in the locality, just a few minutes walk away from the new building.
Having bought 'The Birches', a former care home, Emmaus Preston have renovated the ground floor to provide a home for 12 Companions, a Community Leader and a Deputy. Community Leader Eddie Archer has recently completed his training at Emmaus Communities around the UK.

Meanwhile, work continues apace on the new buildings for Emmaus Oxford and Emmaus Hampshire.
