New visitors are often surprised at the size of our store – it’s the largest charity shop in Oxford!
We offer a huge range of good quality, used and second-hand furniture and electrical items, as well as household goods, bric-a-brac, CDS, DVDs, and books. Our popular fashion department sells ladies, men’s and children’s clothing – all raising vital funds for Emmaus Oxford.
Our specialism is furniture, so come and have a browse – whether you need to kit out an empty flat, replace a three-piece suite or purchase that special piece of furniture. We have dining sets, sofas, coffee tables, display units, cabinets, dressing tables, beds, desks, drawers, wardrobes, upcycled items, antique furniture and more!
We also give you a 10% discount if you are in receipt of (most) benefits providing you aren’t buying a luxury item or something under £20. Just bring along proof of your benefits and a form of photo ID.
Front-of-property Delivery Service
Worried about how you will get your new table home with just a bicycle or walking? We offer a home delivery service for an additional fee. We won’t enter your home but instead are able to deliver no closer than two metres from the front of your property. Our vans deliver all around the local area, up to a maximum distance of 20 miles. Buying pre-loved goods is one easy action we can all take in response to the climate emergency. Every time a pre-loved item changes hands, it stops the need for another one to be made, and stops one going to landfill or waste. Reuse is the first and most important action we can take.
You’ll be supporting the creation of meaningful work and training opportunities.
Working in our store helps the people we are supporting to gain skills, confidence, and to be valued for the contribution they make. Most of the people you’ll meet in our store live in our Emmaus community so you will be able to see first-hand the positive impact you’re making by shopping with us.
Keeping everyone safe whilst shopping.
Please avoid visiting our charity shop if you or members of your household have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. We have hand sanitising stations for customer use, as well as rigorous cleaning measures in place and perspex screens at our tills. We are asking customers to pay by card if possible.
Donate items for resale:
If you wish to drop off donated items, please follow external signs to the back entrance of the store.
If an item is too large to fit in your car, we offer a free collection from your home or business.
