Emmaus opens its 45th Shop

Emmaus President Terry Waite opened the first Emmaus shop in the North East on Saturday.

The shop called 'Follow me' is the 45th Emmaus Shop in the UK and stocks a wide range of household goods.

Three residents of Emmaus Mossley arrived a few days before to help with last minute preparations. It's part of the ethos of Emmaus Communities and businesses that not only should the residents work to support their own projects but they should also help other charities and new Emmaus Groups.
