Radio 4 Appeal

Emmaus President Terry Waite is recording an appeal on Radio 4 to raise money to establish new Emmaus Communities.

Emmaus Communities aim to make themselves financially self sufficient through their work collecting, refurbishing and upcycling donated household goods, but setting up a new Emmaus Community requires funding and support.

In addition to the fundraising element of the appeal it will also help to raise the profile of Emmaus amongt those who have not yet heard of the charity.

The Radio 4 Appeal for Emmaus will be broadcast on Sunday 27 January 2013.
