First ever UK Solidarity Sale at Emmaus Cambridge

On Saturday 17th July Emmaus Cambridge and other Emmaus Communities from around the UK are holding a giant sale to raise money to support Emmaus International Projects around the world.

Local residents familiar with the shop at Emmaus Cambridge will already know what a treasure trove of bargains it is, but the 17th July will be a great opportunity for the public to snap up even more antiques and quirky finds at the first Great Emmaus Solidarity Sale.

Companions, staff and volunteers from twelve Emmaus Communities will be driving vans full of stock across the UK and meeting at Emmaus Cambridge to run the biggest sale and fund raising event the Community has yet undertaken.

Simon Grainge, Community Leader at Emmaus Cambridge says:

“Not only will the sale mean that we will be able to raise money for people in other parts of the world who are in greater need than we are, but it will be an opportunity for the general public to learn more about the work of Emmaus since so many people from the Emmaus Movement in the UK will be there.”

The sale runs from 9 am to 5 pm.
Emmaus Cambridge is at Green End, Landbeach, Cambridge, CB25 9FD just off the A10.
