Folk, France and Fun at Sheffield's Open Day.
Charlie Barker, a young folk singer with a growing reputation, was so impressed following her visit to Emmaus Sheffield that she has agreed to perform at the charity’s Open Day on the 10th July.
She says:
“I like the charity’s key aim to help people restore their lives by giving them the opportunity to live and work with the charity, earning an honest living and giving them the help and security they need. People can be so quick to judge, but just because someone is living on the streets doesn’t mean they are any less of a person than anyone else.”
Emmaus Sheffield’s Open Day called 'Oh La La' has a French theme and will include entertainment, food, a vintage clothes boutique and a giant shoe sale.
