LENDING HIS WAITE

Emmaus President Terry Waite will soon be opening a new shop in Preston. He will cut the ribbon on a brand new venture in the city. Situated on Friargate, the shop will sell high quality second-hand furniture, vintage pieces and bric-a-brac to raise money for the Emmuas Community in Ribbleton Lane.

The residents, volunteers, staff and trustees of the Emmaus Community in Preston and Preston’s Mayor Councillor Keith Sedgwick are welcoming local people to the shop to celebrate the opening of this venture.

Glen Lockett, the Director of Emmaus Preston says;
“We are all very much looking forward to the next chapter in the development of Emmaus in Preston. The shop will appeal to those customers looking for a bargain, but also those who want to find something a bit quirky that they couldn’t find anywhere else. Every piece donated or bought will be a contribution to what is a really great cause.”
