Happy 6th Birthday Emmaus Leeds!

Terry Waite, President of Emmaus UK, was the guest of honour at Emmaus Leeds' event to celebrate their sixth anniversary since opening in November 2003. The Community is going from strength to strength, operating both as a thriving business and as a home to previously homeless and unemployed people. Terry Waite met the staff, residents and supporters both past and present who have worked hard to make the Community the success it is today.

Speaking after the event, Ali Ward, General Manager of Emmaus Leeds said, 'It was great to have the chance to celebrate together and reflect on what we have achieved in the six years since the Community first opened. Emmaus Leeds has really found its feet now and is an integral part of the wider community.'
