Rock band flags up Emmaus

American punk rockers Anti-Flag take to the road in October and November on a Europe wide tour.

Originally formed in 1988, Anti-Flag make music that challenges attitudes to current issues and injustices. They support community projects in the towns where they play and first discovered on their 2008 tour how Emmaus Communities offer a way back from homelessness through working and living in a supportive environment. At their gigs, they encouraged their fans to support Emmaus Colchester and Emmaus South Lambeth.

Emmaus is delighted that Anti-Flag have chosen to support them on their 2009 tour. Information about Emmaus will be available at the UK gigs and at some venues, there will be people from Emmaus Communities available to answer questions.
