More homes and work for homeless people in sight

New Emmaus Communities in the north and south of England moved a step closer this summer with the acquisition of sites in Burnley and St. Leonards on Sea.

Emmaus Burnley have already moved offices to their recently purchased property north of the town centre. Emmaus Hastings and Rother have bought workshop space, offices and land from Southern Water on an industrial site on the outskirts of St Leonards on Sea.

Trustees, staff and volunteers from both Emmaus Groups are now focused on the additional fundraising and preparation needed to turn their vision of a working Emmaus Community into reality. There are months of hard work ahead.

If you'd like to know more, or think you may be able to help move these exciting new projects forward, contact Emmaus Burnley or Emmaus Hastings and Rother
