Emmaus Brighton & Hove Solidarity Day sale raises £1,800 for Emmaus International
On Saturday 25th July Emmaus Brighton & Hove held their 12th annual Solidarity Day sale in aid of Emmaus International.
The Community rallied around in preparation for the sale, sorting out hundreds of soft toys, stocking up the main shop with box after box of interesting bric-a-brac, and putting on a tasty BBQ of burgers and hot dogs on the lawns outside the main shop.
Many thanks to all involved on the day and to all Emmaus Brighton and Hove customers whose support will in turn help out many other projects around the world.
Solidarity - caring for others less fortunate than us - is one of the main objectives of Emmaus Brighton & Hove and the Community is active locally, nationally and internationally.
