Homelessness Sunday

Homelessness Sunday is a yearly event designed to draw the public's attention to the reality of hidden poverty and homelessness in the community.

This year Homelessness Sunday is called Voices from the Edge and will take place on 1st February. The focus for the day is making time to listen to people who are experiencing the complex issues surrounding homelessness.

Emmaus is participating in this event by encouraging people to give to charity in other ways than donating money. Although financial support is crucial, giving time can be as valuable.

Emmaus is looking for Trustees to join their boards across the UK. Anyone who is interested in helping to make a difference in the lives of the most marginalised members of society should follow this link; http://www.emmaus.org.uk/volunteer
