Cash For Cutlery Factory
Terry Waite, President of the Emmaus UK Federation, was presented with a cheque in aid of the recently opened Emmaus Community in Sheffield.
Help The Homeless, an organisation which gives grants to charities who work to re-establish homeless people into mainstream society, have donated £50 000 to Emmaus Sheffield so that they can build more bedrooms at their Community for previously homeless people which is based in a converted cutlery factory in Cadman Street.
Terry Waite received the donation from the Chairman of Help The Homeless Francis Bergin in a presentation at Lambeth Palace in London on Friday 14th March.
