Volunteering is probably one of the best things you can do with your free time. Volunteering with us is definitely the best. Imagine doing something that helped people make something of their lives. Perhaps a friend or family member has been affected by homelessness in the past, and we have helped. Perhaps, for you, homelessness is an issue in general that you want to help fight. Perhaps you’re just bored on your day off and fancy doing something good for someone else. All these are good reasons to volunteer.
Volunteering is a great thing to do if you maybe don’t have enough cash to donate money, because volunteering is basically a donation in itself - a donation of time, that is.
What you actually do while volunteering depends on what you want to do, what you can offer us, and where we need help at that time. You could be on the till in the shop, or serving drinks in the café, or helping with admin in the office. We’ll find something for you to do.
