Emmaus Leeds Corporate Golf Day Sponsored by MJ Hester & Grangevale Homes
On 6th June 2007 Emmaus Leeds held a corporate golf day which held at Sand Moor Golf Club. The teams entered consisted of four players (with a £400 entrance fee). The day started off with a shotgun start at 2pm as the teams teed off. The day saw many teams do plenty of fantastic shots (And some bad ones) and all the teams had finished between 6.00-6.45pm after being scored all day under the Stableford scoring system. The awards for the top, second and third placed teams aswell as individual awards of ’nearest the pin’, ’nearest the line’ and ’longest drive’ were handed out in a prize ceremony which took place after the hugely successful dinner. It is safe to be said that there were some very happy golfers after the day was complete. The amount we raised was an incredible total of £6,365.
