Would you like to get involved with an exciting organisation that makes a real difference to homeless people? Emmaus is a charity offering previously homeless people a safe home and work in a supportive community.
We are looking for a Relief Community Leader (employed on a permanent/full time basis) to provide interim cover at Emmaus Communities across the UK as and when additional support is required. Working alongside other local staff, you will be responsible for all aspects of the permanent Community Leader’s role at the Community you are placed in, including Companion support as well as business and Community management. The role is full time with frequent UK wide travel at short notice. Any downtime will be spent undertaking project work either at the Emmaus UK Federation Support Office based at Cambridge or at home.
Committed to the empowerment of disadvantaged people, the successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and the ability to inspire and motivate people. You will also possess excellent leadership, organisation and time management skills, as well as have an understanding of facilities, financial and business management.
