Sofa so Good - Jerry Hall welcomes team that carried a sofa 10 miles
Jerry Hall gave a glamorous welcome to the team of senior managers from Barbon Insurance Group and staff and Companions from Emmaus Greenwich that carried a sofa ten miles from Emmaus Greenwich to Lloyd's of London in the City.
Leaving at 6am, the team took turns to carry the sofa and finally made it to Lloyd's of London at 12.30pm.
The event raised £10,000 for Emmaus Greenwich, who were in desperate need of a new van.
Emmaus Greenwich Business Manager Murray Hunt said: "It was a fantastic day. Three of our Companions walked the route, everyone was really positive and it was a great experience. Barbon did a fine job keeping everyone's spirits up and we all loved meeting Jerry Hall at the end".
