Wanted – Volunteers
Volunteering opportunities vary at Emmaus Colchester. At the moment we are looking for people to help in the following ways:
Sorting
Can you spare 1 or 2 days a week? Are you interested in clothes or bric-a-brac?
Now that we have opened our new shop we really need people to help us sort the donated clothes and bric-a-brac and prepare them for display in the shops.
You would be working above the shop, interacting with our staff and Companions and other Volunteers.

Handyman
General all round handyman is required to assist in warehouse.
Basic carpentry skills; Painting and Decorating; Knowledge of building materials and their use.
The ability to show others how to carry out these tasks would be a bonus.
The warehouse is open Monday to Saturday from 9am until 5 pm.
Anytime you can give would be useful. Cooked lunch available.
