Emmaus to appear on the Radio 4 Charity Appeal
Emmaus UK has been given the opportunity to appear on a Radio 4 charity appeal. These appeals are broadcast on Sundays at 0755 and 2126.
Emmaus' Media and Publicity Manager Madeleine Reiss said: "It's really great that Emmaus was given this opportunity. Many charities applied, so we were very lucky. It's all thanks to Mabel Wale in the Fundraising Team who made this possible. It's a fantastic opportunity to raise money and explain what Emmaus does."
The next stage is to write a script and find a presenter.
The cumulative weekly audience of the Radio 4 appeal is 1.9 million. 56% of the audience is female, and according to Radio 4's figures they tend to be interested in books, music, cinema, gardening, the environoment, science, and current affairs.
