You can make a difference in so many ways
Volunteering and Fundraising
Have you ever thought about volunteering?
At Emmaus Colchester we have many openings for volunteers who wish to share their skills and knowledge in aiding Companions to regain their confidence and return back to the wider society.
Why not give us a try? Come and have a look at our shops and Community house. No long term commitment and you decide what day/s and time you are able to assist.
We need people with retail experience to work in the warehouse and shop and people with basic DIY skills. This imparted knowledge will greatly assist Companions when they move back into employment and a place of their own.

Thank you for choosing to support Emmaus Colchester.
The Community is now in its third year of trading and I am pleased to say we have made great strides towards our goal of being self sufficent within three years of opening. A second retail outlet made a significant difference but the past two winters had a severe impact on our trading income. We continually look at new ways of working and improving our efficiency but still require additional financial help to achieve our goal.
All contributions are gratefully received and will go towards helping homeless people in Colchester

Make your donation go even further with Gift Aid
Gift Aid is a way to give money tax-free to charity. If you pay income tax, Emmaus Colchester can claim back a further 28p from the Inland Revenue for every £1 that you donate. Simply request and complete a Gift Aid declaration form and we will collect the income tax you have paid on your donation to invest further in the development of our Community.
