Mayor Opens Emmaus Superstore

Emmaus Burnley's Second Hand Superstore was declared officially open at a ceremony with the Mayor and Mayoress of Burnley on April 16th.

Emmaus Burnley has been trading since March and the superstore, run by Companions and volunteers,has been making good progress. At the ceremony The Mayor stated that he was proud to be asked to open the Superstore and praised Emmaus Burnley for the work that has gone into reaching this point.

The Emmaus Superstore is located on Ivy Street, Burnley, and is open 10am - 4pm Tuesdays to Saturdays, anyone with any good quality unwanted furniture which they would like to donate to Emmaus should contact 01282 430860.
