Gala Dinner with Terry Waite

Emmaus Burnley are holding a Gala Dinner with Emmaus UK President Terry Waite (above) to celebrate becoming the UK's 20th Emmaus Community to open.

Emmaus House can now cater for up to eleven Companions, rising to twenty-four in mid-2011; and with our Second Hand Superstore on Ivy Street set to open on 19th March Burnley will have a fully functioning Emmaus Community after over five years in the pipline. The Gala Dinner will be a celebration of everything we have achieved so far and we are delighted that Terry Waite will be speaking at the event.
