Emmaus Burnley Welcomes First Companions
Emmaus Burnley has now opended its doors to four "seed" Companions and in doing so has become the twentieth Emmaus Community to open in the UK.
Jav and Ryan arrived from Emmaus Gloucester and Carlton respectively, with Sarah and Richard following soon after from Emmaus Preston.
The four of them will work alongside our Community Staff Team as we hope to begin trading from our second site on Ivy Street in the next few weeks. They will also give us an indication of when we will be able to begin taking referrals for potential Companions from the local area.
Emmaus Burnley trustees and staff are very excited to finally be able to accomodate Companions at Emmaus House, and would like to thank everyone who has helped us get to this stage.
