Success at Burnley Community Festival

In warm summer sunshine, Emmaus Burnley enjoyed a successful day at the annual Burnley Community Festival with a bookstall that raised awareness of the project's increasing presence in Burnley.

To celebrate the launch of our social enterprise, more than 100 paperback novels were given away free of charge, at "Good Deals for Good Deeds". This unique initiative comprised of the books, which also contained several flyers promoting our new social enterprise and other aspects of Emmaus Burnley, being distributed to visitors to the Festival.
